Master Class with Grand Master Wheatley

Save the date for this great seminar sponsored by the Sylvania Taekwon-Do Association and hosted by Mr and Mrs Van Zile. The event will take place at Maumee Bay Lodge and Conference Center in Oregon, OH. All ranks and ages are welcome and invited to attend. There will also be a high rank testing held on Friday before the seminar. Location to be determined.

Sylvania Award Program Honors the Achievement

SYLVANIA August 18, 2024 -- Great Lakes Global TaeKwon-Do has been selected for the 2024 Best of Sylvania Award in the Martial Arts School category by the Sylvania Award Program.

Each year, the Sylvania Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Sylvania area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2024 Sylvania Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Sylvania Award Program and data provided by third parties.

November 15-17 Fairfield, New Jersey

November 15th there will be a daytime black belt test.  Mr. Mitchell Gorsha from Sylvania, Ohio will be testing for his 6th degree.

Friday evening Nov. 15  6pm-8pm course begins

Saturday & Sunday the course runs 9am-3pm
